Run the test
Open [PageSpeed Test](/tools/pagespeed-test), enter a full public URL (https://), and click Test. Localhost and password-protected pages cannot be tested.
Understand scores
Performance 90+ is excellent. Focus on LCP (largest content) and server response time. If TTFB is high, consider NVMe [shared hosting](/shared-hosting) or [VPS](/vps-hosting).
Rate limits
If Google's free API quota is exceeded, add your own free PageSpeed API key in the tool — it saves in your browser only.
