Upload Files via FTP & SFTP

Create an FTP account

1. Open cPanel → FTP Accounts.
2. Enter a username, password, and directory.
3. Click Create FTP Account.

Connect with FileZilla (SFTP recommended)

Host: your server hostname or IP. Username: the full FTP username. Password: your FTP password. Port: 22 for SFTP (secure) or 21 for FTP.

Always prefer SFTP — it encrypts your credentials in transit.
